Early On® Genesee County
Early On® Genesee County provides free early intervention services for infants and toddlers, birth to three years of age, with developmental delay(s) and/or disabilities. Early On Genesee County also supports parents and families so that they can address the unique needs of their eligible infants and toddlers and enhance their health, development, and learning.

Genesee County Community Action Resource Department (GCCARD) Head Start Programs
The GCCARD Head Start program provides preschool classes and comprehensive services for children, ages 3-5, who live in Atherton, Bentley, Bendle, Clio, Davison, Fenton, Flushing, Genesee, Grand Blanc, Kearsley, Lakeville, Linden, Montrose, Lake Fenton, Mt. Morris, Swartz Creek, and Westwood Heights school districts. Free (income based) school and home-based services are available.
Genesee Healthy Start Maternal Infant Health Programs
Genesee Healthy Start is an integrated partnership of community-based organizations working to improve maternal, child and family health in Genesee County. Healthy Start helps women before, during and after pregnancy, children ages 0-18 months, and dads (or supporting men) with various health and social needs.
Genesee Health System - Infant Mental Health
The Genesee Health System Infant Mental Health Specialists provide home visits that promote positive parent-infant interactions and healthy infant development. Services include addressing the needs of the infant and other young children in the family and the mental health needs of the parent.
Genesee Intermediate School District (GISD) Head Start Programs
The GISD Early Head Start program provides infant/toddler center-based classrooms and comprehensive services for children 6 weeks to 3 years of age in the Flint school district. Free (income based) school and home-based services are available.
The GISD Head Start program provides preschool classes and comprehensive services for children, ages 3-5, who live in the Beecher, Carman-Ainsworth, and Flint school districts. Free (income based) school and home-based services are available.
Hurley Medical Center Nurse Family Partnership
Becoming a mom for the first time is by far the hardest job you’ll ever love. In acknowledgement of the challenges first-time moms face, Hurley Medical Center offers the free Nurse Family Partnership. This free program matches you with a registered nurse for advice, guidance, support, and a good laugh when you need it most.
Successful Kids = Involved Parents (SKIP) to a Great Start
SKIP to a Great Start is a home visiting program for Genesee County families with children prebirth to kindergarten entrance. SKIP provides monthly home visits using the evidence-based Parents as Teachers framework, with an emphasis on supporting parents as their child's first teacher.
