The Genesee County Health Department (GCHD) provides clinics for immunizations, children's special health care needs, lead screening and abatement, and information on communicable diseases. Services are available to all children and a sliding fee scale is used to determine cost to the family. Family planning clinic including pregnancy testing, nutrition, WIC, health education, infant nursing education, tuberculosis testing, immunizations, confidential AIDS testing and counseling, environmental health services. GCHD Children’s Special Healthcare Services
Cover medical expenses related to approved medical conditions for families of children who have disabilities and who are eligible for Children's Special Health Care Services. Insurance assistance to families of children who have handicapping or partially handicapping conditions and who qualify. Birth to 21 years.
Children’s Healthcare Access Program
The Children’s Healthcare Access Program (CHAP) provides services to families including: parent education, asthma education and case management, care coordination, and patient navigation.

Healthy Kids Dental Program
Across the state of Michigan, the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS) Healthy Kids Dental Program is available to children who have Medicaid and are under the age of 21. Mott Children’s Health Center
The Mott Children's Health Center offers dental, behavioral counseling, medical education, nutrition, hearing aid services, and educational services for income eligible children to age 18.
